Kyra Minturn

 Kyra Minturn Sedgwick (born August 19, 1965) is an American actress, producer and director. She is most famous for playing the role of the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson (TVN crime drama The Closer). Sedgwick was honored with the Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award for her portrayal as Johnson in 2007. After the conclusion of the seventh season the show was canceled on August 13, 2012. Sedgwick is also well-known for her part in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, playing Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was nominated for an Golden Globe award in 1995 for her performance in Something to Talk About. Sedgwick's film roles include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992) The Heart and Souls-1993), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003).
